Meeting Minutes – 8/3/15
Glenwood Elementary School
Meeting opened at 6:35PM. Attending: Mike Sullivan, Doug Briggs, Michele Van Reet
- Mike Sullivan updated us on the questions raised by concerned citizens. He will address them tonight.
- Mike Sullivan also informed us that in the meantime he found out that the dump site was supposed to be maintained on a regular basis and it never was by the state or by us. There is a concern that some of the saplings that are there may have compromised the capping material. Mike Sullivan asked DCAM to maintain it, bring it up to standards, and we’ll take it from there. He also has a document on the dump site and is looking for more information.
- Mike Sullivan will make a short presentation on article 1. He talked to the moderator about having Barton make the presentation and will stay up there with them.
- TIF documents were not able to be completed prior to the meeting. Mike Sullivan made an agreement with the moderator and the select board that the article will be read by Mike Sullivan, Select Board will second it. Mike will give a brief overview of what a TIF is and then will request a vote to take no action.
- Mike Sullivan will make the motions and Select Board will second them.
- At 6:44 PM, Briggs motioned to continue the meeting until after the town meeting. Sullivan seconded. Unanimously agreed.
- The meeting was adjourned at the end of the town meeting due to lack of quorum.
